FAQs

Why is Deia the starting point of all the GR221 stages?

In Deia starts the part of GR221 which is best signed. You have the option to start in Valldemossa adding at least 13 kilometers to the planned route. Ask us for the possibilities.

Are these hikes suitable for hikers that are not in super condition?

The GR221 is accessible for everyone, but we recommend experience and a good physical condition. The stages do have a lot of difference in height and that makes the hikes heavy.

What do I carry with me?

You walk with your backpack. Don’t pack your bag too full. In the evening you don’t need more than some clothes to relax in. You need a jersey and don’t forget your flip flops. During the day you need enough water, something to eat, sunscreen and a raincoat. The rest of the luggage will be carried from accommodation to accommodation.

What happens if I have an accident or something unforeseen happens?

You can contact us anytime 24/7. We will see how can we help you.
