We start the day with a good breakfast in Estella to follow the route of the Camino de Santiago by e-bike that will take us to Logroño, the capital of La Rioja, known worldwide for the quality of its wines. We have 50 km ahead of us on a bicycle with a downward slope that helps us after the effort of the previous day.

The route descends to the wine fountain where a fountain offers water and wine to the pilgrims before continuing to the Irache monastery and ascend to Villamayor de Monjardín where you can see the Romanesque church of San Andrés, the path continues through vineyards to Los Arcos where we can make a stop in the Plaza de Santa María.
We will follow the Camino de Santiago by ebike that will take us through the towns of Torres del Rio and Vina before entering Logroño, crossing the stone bridge over the Ebro river.

We leave Logroño on our ebike towards Santo Domingo de la Calzada, ahead we have a journey of 50.6 km that we can travel both on the Camino de Santiago or following the N 120-A road.
The soft landscape of La Rioja full of vine and fruit trees accompanies us passing by. Navarrete, the high of San Antón that with 670 meters is shown as the highest point before descending to Nájera, a good time to rest in the first part of the stage. We continue towards Santo Domingo de la Calzada, town of La Rioja Alta and in the vine landscapes are gradually giving way to the cereal of Castilla.
The time has come to rest and prepare for the longest stage that will take us the next day to Burgos.
We enter the longest stage and where we must be more careful if the decision is to roll down the N120 road as it is a section of heavy traffic. The alternative is to continue the Camino de Santiago footpath and, also with caution, it is perfectly passable by bicigrinos.
Once we have passed Grañón we will reach the region of Castilla y León, a land of cereals, which according to the time of year will vary from winter ocher to summer yellow through the intense greens of spring.
We will cross the town of Belorado where we will be able to observe the ancient hermit caves and the ruins of a castle.
Oak, pine, heather landscapes lead us to San Juan de Ortega, where it is a good time to stop along the way.
Following the road to Burgos we will pass by Ibeas de Juarros the place where the visitor center of the Atapuerca archaeological sites a place where remains ofhave been found Homo Antecessor 900,000 years oldand that can be visited by prior reservation.
To get to the city of Burgos we can avoid one of the accesses full of traffic if we follow the river walk of the Arlanzón River until the San Pablo bridge located near the imposing cathedral world heritageof humanity.
It is time to go to the chosen accommodation, rest and go out to visit the city.
We leave the Burgos Cathedral behind to enter the eternal Castile of infinite horizons full of dry land, where you can travel back in time through the almost medieval towns that we cross until we reach the jewel of the Romanesque in Frómista.
Sometimes it will be difficult to bike the Camino de Santiago without trees that protect us from the rigors of the weather.
The passage under the arches of San Antón in Castrojeriz and the ascent to Teso de los Mostelares from where the impressive Tierra de Campos can be seen.
Arriving at Frómista is entering the Romanesque to visit the church of San Martín de Tours and feel like a medieval pilgrim.

We leave Frómista to ride the Camino de Santiago by ebike until we reach the town of Sahagún in León. It is a plain between cereal fields.
You will pass by Carrión de los Condes where you can visit the monastery of San Zoilo, currently converted into a royal hotel.
From Carrión we continue through the towns of Calzadilla de la Cueza and Terradillos de los Templarios until we reach Sahagún where we can visit the Sanctuary of La Peregrina and the ruins of the Royal Monastery of San Benito, all of which have been declared Sites of Cultural Interest.
We leave Sahagún to cover stage 7 of the Camino de Santiago by electric bike from Pamplona to León.
After leaving Sahagún we find a fork at the foot of the N-120 road that allows you to choose between following the original route of the Camino de Santiago and continuing to Bercianos del Real Camino and Burgo Ranero or following the Vía Trajana towards Calzada del Coto and Calzadilla de los Hermanillos. Both routes are perfectly signposted and run between trees, scrubland and small forests. We continue several kilometers until we reach Reliegos and Mansilla de las Mulas where a stop to relax a bit or if you have time to visit the Provincial Ethnographic Museum of León, a gem.
We continue the itinerary crossing the Esla, Porma and Torío rivers just before arriving in León.
Millennial and beautiful city where we will rest and enjoy its famous tapas, its Cathedral, its Basilica of San Isidoro and its Parador de San Marcos as well as the jewels of contemporary architecture such as the MUSAC and the Auditorium Ciudad de León.
