Overview

From Santiago de Compostela to Finisterre in 6 days

During your Camino Finisterre Santiago you walk in 4 stages from Santiago de Compostela to Caminoo Finisterre. Ideal for when you want to smell the pilgrim’s life or if you have not worn enough kilometers after Santiago. The total number of kilometers is 90 and the stages are about 25 km per day. Finisterre, which literally means the end of the world in Latin, was where the Apostle James first allegedly set foot on the Iberian Peninsula. When they arrive here, they often ritually burn their clothes, a tradition that is still alive today. That is to say, burning is no longer permitted in connection with the risk of forest fires. Instead there is a place where you can leave something of your pilgrimage route.

The sunset at the westernmost point of Europe is truly magical. We definitely recommend that you visit one of the many beaches of  Camino Finisterre Santiago. There are also several boats going out to sea every night. To watch the sunset from there. A unique and unforgettable experience to end your camino Finisterre with.

Do you want to extend your Camino Finisterre Santiago and continue to Muxia? Then do not hesitate to contact us. We are happy to arrange it for you!

WOW travel

I call you WOW travel, because when my 19-month-old granddaughter thinks something is beautiful and good, she says WOW. They are very customer friendly and all problems are solved immediately. I am a woman of the 5* hotels, but these hotels, 3*, were very good. If I have to rate, I give a 9. If my husband wants to walk the camino again, I will definitely knock on their door again. Annemiek thank you very much!

Luggage always on site

We are back home after 6 days of hiking through the beautiful nature. We had a great time. Well organised, nice hotels, well documented and luggage always on site. You had arranged it so well, sun, partly cloudy and only one day of rain, super. Thank you!

Personal approach

It was a very nice experience, everything was really well arranged, beautiful hotels, transfers, massage really nice! Despite not practicing well, we have fully completed the Camino, the day from Finisterre to Muxia (more than 30 km) was a very tough one. Thanks for the personal approach, that gives good feeling. Thanks again for organizing this Camino, we enjoyed it very much!

Top organisation!

This small tour operator excels in personal attention and perfect organization. We walked the camino from Santiago to Finisterre for a week and everything was really top organised by Annemiek and her partner Roberto. Think of the surprise menu, the beautiful small hotels and the personal contact before our trip. We are critical, but we had absolutely nothing to criticize about this. Highly recommended. A 10 for WAW.travel!
